Illinois Baptist College is a four-year, degree-granting, church-sponsored Bible college offering degrees in the area of theology and Christian education for church ministries. The mission of IBC is to prepare Christians biblically, academically, practically and spiritually for a place of ministry that God has prepared for them.

Last year there were 25 students enrolled in each semester. We are preparing to welcome many more students for the 2007 - 2008 college year. Classes are offered Monday - Thursday mornings and Monday and Tuesday afternoons. There will be classes on Monday and Tuesday night. (See schedule or contact the college for exact times and classes.) There are international students enrolled from Haiti, Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. This semester Illinois Baptist College will add a new faculty member, Jeff Patrick, Sr., pastor of First Baptist Church, Bradford, Illinois. He will be teaching an elementary music theory class. Pastor Patrick has a Master’s Degree in music from the University of Georgia. He is finishing his work on a Bachelor of Theology degree at Illinois Baptist College.

The college continues to pray about the purchase of the nine acres of land across the highway from our current location.
